Welcome to Active Aging!
As we at EHS gets older, our clients are aging along with us, and our team has a unique perspective on how Pilates can benefit our bodies and minds as we age. We have seen firsthand how adding a Pilates program to client’s wellness routines keeps them active and able to move through life with less pain and discomfort that often occurs with aging.
EHS has classes tailored to our older clientele that are safe, thoughtful and challenging. Our trainers have certified through Balanced Body & Ellie Herman, both programs are world renowned and highly reputable, as well as continuing education in rehabilitative work, bone health and movement therapy.
Pilates will help increase stability, balance, control, range of motion, flexibility and help to reduce the risk of falls. It is also a good way to rehab from surgical procedures, such as hip replacement or knee surgery. In fact, Tracey, the current owner of EHS has had double hip replacement surgery and is a great resource if you have further questions about pre-surgery prep & post-surgery rehab.
