Michelle began practicing Pilates to complement her interest in dance, and to satisfy the inner geek in her that wanted to figure out how the body moves most efficiently. Pilates is the practice that safely helped her regain strength following abdominal surgery, and the principles illuminated how to move with greater ease — in alignment, with confidence, and without strain. Michelle is certified through Ellie Herman Pilates and Balanced Body University.
Specialties & other modalities:
Michelle has practiced various styles of Yoga, dance, athletic conditioning and is pretty good at being upside down and right side up. She has studied with Lizz Roman to learn rehabilitation techniques based on the principals of Janda. She is also working as a gait specialist -using Pilates and CoreAlign- to help those who suffer from conditions such as plantar fasciitis, disc impingement, or those coming back from athletic injury to regain strength and mobility from the ground up.  Visit Michelle’s Schedule Back to Instructors
